March 2008 - Plans for the addition are on schedule. The gymnasium floor will be redone in the near future.
February 2008 - The gymnasium has been repainted and looks great!
Our much needed addition is still on track. A draft of the floorplan is in place and plans are being drawn for extended parking. Holes are being drilled to determine what type of rock lies beneath the ground surface and surveys of both the inside and outside of the building are complete.
October 2007 - The architect firm designing our addition is officially Bushey Feight Mornin Architects, Inc. This is the same firm that designed our new roof. The addition will include ten classrooms and the expansion of our cafeteria. A big thanks go out to those parents and staff who worked so hard last year to keep our addition on track!
Summer 2007 - The roof of CMES was replaced.
April 24, 2007, the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners unanimously voted to support the increase in the recordation tax. This money will be dedicated to school construction and renovations.
