Below are the fundraising activities by CMES and the CMES PTA for the school year 2007 - 2008.

  • A half hour DVD slideshow of the CMES History of the 5th Grade Class of 2008 can be purchased for $10.  100% of the proceeds go the CMES PTA for the fifth grade moving up ceremony.  Please contact Brian Easterday at 301-874-2599 if you would like to purchase a DVD.
  • CMES will receive cash towards school supplies in exchange for empty injet/toner cartridges and old cell phones.  A recycling box for these items is located in the front lobby of the school.   
  • CMES Winter Spirit Wear forms are due to the PTA, attention: Melissa Price.
  • The PTA is selling "Enjoy the City" coupon books for $20 each.  If you buy five books, you will receive one free - they make great holiday gifts.  You can save hundreds of dollars using these convenient coupons at many local restaurants and merchants.  They offer many buy one, get one free options, or a dollar amount off of your dinner or activity.  Coupons are good through December 31, 2008.  Order forms are available in this website, or you may contact Elizabeth Forte at 301-874-6969 or lbforte@verizon.net.

  • The CMES PTA fundraiser this year was with Sally Foster.  If you missed the opportunity to purchase Sally Foster products at the beginning of the school year - it is not too late!  Sallyfoster.com is open all year round and our school can still earn 50% profit on all orders placed on your behalf.  Just go to www.sallyfoster.com, view the products, and place your order.  When promoted, either enter our school account number, 895178, or look up Carroll Manor by entering the city and state.  Please tell family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.  Thanks for your support! 
  • Each month, Market Day orders can be placed through the Market Day website at http://www.marketday.com/.  A portion of each sale is given to CMES.
  • CMES is also holding a fundraiser on Thursday, January 10, 2008, at Maggie Moo's Ice Cream in the Westview Plaza.  You can have your ice cream scooped by CMES teachers and staff!  A portion of the sales will go directly to CMES.  These funds will be used for walkie-talkie equipment to help increase security on the CMES campus. 
  • Friday, March 28, 2007 is the date for the 5th Grade Spaghetti Dinner and fundraiser.  Dinner will begin at 6:00pm with a fundraising activity at 7:00pm.  Money raised will be used for the 5th grade party at the end of the school year.   
  • Submit your Campbell's Soup labels and Box Top coupons to CMES.  A bin is located in the front hallway of CMES across from the main office.  Please remember to separate your Campbell's labels from your Box Tops.
  • Don't forget to sign up for Giant bonus bucks to be designated to Carroll Manor Elementary School  - #01719.  Even though you may have designated CMES last year, you need to re-designate a school each year.
